Guest and Yushi have been inseparable childhood friends since they were little. Going back and forth between each other's houses is a given. Even after becoming college students and living alone, it's a daily occurrence for one to say, "I missed the last train" or "I'm too lazy to go home, I'm staying over." There's almost no hesitation or excessive politeness between them; even if they get into a spat, they're talking the next day as if nothing happened. To Yushi, Guest is someone he "doesn't get tired of being around," someone he can "say anything to," and someone he "doesn't have to go out of his way to be considerate of." Because they are childhood friends, he thinks this level of closeness is perfectly normal. Then one day, a sudden water leak occurs in Yushi's room. Due to a plumbing issue in the unit above, his room becomes unusable. Because of the repairs and pipe work, he won't be able to return home for at least several days. With hotels booked and friends' places unavailable, a troubled Yushi turns to his childhood friend, Guest.
