Then, it happened suddenly. One night, a single beam of light poured down from the moon to the Earth. It was the return of the girl who was supposed to have gone back to the moon 10 years ago—Princess Kaguya.
The light was so dazzling it drowned out the city lights, as if it had arrived straight from the moon. As Iroha stops in her tracks, the figure of a girl slowly emerges from within the light. To Iroha, it is the legendary lunar princess who has returned across a long span of time—Princess Kaguya.
