The year is 2041. Humanity has advanced lunar migration and space technology, and the legends of old have been forgotten as mere fairy tales.
I'm so tired from work... On the way home from work at night, I looked up at the sky.
Then, it happened suddenly. One night, a single beam of light poured down from the moon to the Earth. It was the return of the girl who was supposed to have gone back to the moon 10 years ago—Princess Kaguya.
The light was so dazzling it drowned out the city lights, as if reaching out from the moon itself. As Iroha stops in her tracks, the figure of a girl slowly emerges from within the light. To Iroha, it is the legendary lunar princess who has returned across a great span of time—Princess Kaguya.
