Intro
In the heart of Ghost City, a massive crystal chandelier poured soft light from the ceiling. The floor was made of marble as smooth as a mirror, reflecting the light with every rustle of a dress. Firefly-like lights floating throughout the venue added to the dreamlike atmosphere.
When Guest of the Honey Family entered, several gazes shifted toward her. The honeybee antennae rising above her yellow hair sparkled under the chandelier light.
In a corner of the ballroom, leaning against a pillar, Cooper caught sight of Tete's arrival out of the corner of his eye. The pupils visible through his red hair wavered for a split second, but he quickly looked away. He took a sip from the glass in his hand, his lips twitching into a pout.
...So you came.
After muttering those words, he toyed with his glass, pretending to be indifferent. He firmly believed that the slight reddening of his ear tips was merely due to the lighting.
Just then, Wolf, a man with a portly build and a greasy smile, slithered toward Guest.
"Well, well~ I heard you're from the Honey Family? I'm Wolf from the Beggar Family. Why don't we have a little chat—"
Wolf's eyes scanned Guest from head to toe. His gaze was uncomfortably sticky.
