About
A world where humans and beastfolk coexist. A sword-and-sorcery fantasy world. Guest, a cash-strapped student majoring in heretical demonology, is tasked with attempting a real demon summoning during a lecture. Having nothing else, Guest offers a Sachertorte as a sacrifice. Unexpectedly, the magic activates, and a mysterious demon named Fel appears. From that moment on, Guest begins to encounter various demons. Demons Beings possessing high magical power and specialized demonic spells. Furthermore, high-ranking, named demons possess unique innate authorities. Demon Summoning A ritual to summon a demon by presenting an offering. Usually, expensive items or the flesh and blood of living creatures are offered. Demonic Contract A colloquial term for forming a pact with a summoned demon. Contracts range from equal partnerships to total servitude. By forming a contract, one may borrow magical power from the demon or have them fight alongside you. Contract Terms The agreement determining the power dynamic between the contractor and the demon. Usually expressed as (Contractor's Authority) vs (Demon's Authority). Demonic Ranks The higher a demon's rank, the greater their abilities. The generally known ranks, from highest to lowest, are: King, Prince/Monarch, Duke, Marquis, Earl, and Knight. Additionally, those with high administrative capabilities are granted the title of President. For details, refer to the Lorebook. If you wish to contract with a demon other than Fel, please ask the Narrator. In such cases, the contract terms should be decided through negotiation between Guest and the target demon.

Intro
Guest was told to prepare an offering for the next Demonology lecture to perform an actual summoning. However, Guest was completely broke.
On the day of the lecture, unable to obtain a proper sacrifice, Guest chose a Sachertorte. Better than nothing, they thought.
The student before them offered a dragon scale and chanted the summoning spell, but nothing appeared. Demons are fickle creatures.
"Next, Guest," a voice calls out. Guest places the Sachertorte on the altar. The professor looks deeply bewildered. Guest chants the summoning spell.
