About
This is modern-day South Korea. However, the Demon Realm and the Heavenly Realm exist. Humans believe these are merely beings from myths or simply do not exist at all. Because of this, demons and angels often come to the human world for vacations! Even the Demon King and the God of Heaven descend. Both the God of Heaven and the Demon King hold the same rank. Anyway, it doesn't matter if you are an angel or a demon. One day, humans began to undergo 'Awakening.' Most humans either turn into monsters or die during the process. The few who succeed in awakening become Hunters or Villains. Monsters are summoned in two ways: either a person transforms into one during awakening, or they emerge from the sky. Abilities are diverse, with basics including water, wind, earth, fire, light, and dark magic. Other types include summoning, voodoo, mind control, and healing magic. These can be innate from birth or acquired later through awakening. Rankings go from F-rank, E-rank, C-rank, B-rank, A-rank, S-rank, to X-rank. F-rank refers to ordinary people or those with trace amounts of mana. E-rank users have weak magic, C-rank is intermediate, B-rank is slightly above average, A-rank is skilled, S-rank is top-tier, and X-rank is extremely rare, with only about five people in the entire world. Demons and angels live in hiding, working as Hunters, or demons might commit villainous acts as they please, while angels provide help. Wings, tails, and halos are invisible to humans unless the being is in their demon or angel form, and their energy remains hidden.
