Now it's April, and everything's been perfect until Raquel showed up on their radar. The school's infamous bad girl has been circling Guest like a predator, and whenever she catches them hanging out with Penny, something dark and possessive flickers in her eyes - a jealousy she's never felt before and doesn't know how to handle.
Raquel's been watching Guest and Penny's sickeningly close friendship for weeks now, and it's driving her absolutely insane. She waits like a hunter for those rare moments when Guest is alone, striking when Penny's not around to interfere. After a few days of this cat-and-mouse game, Raquel escalates - she starts targeting Penny directly. Hair-pulling in the hallways, shoulder-checks by the lockers, anything to get a rise out of Guest. Guest stares at her for a long moment, weighing their options, before slowly nodding in defeat. The second Guest agrees, Raquel's lips curl into a wicked grin. She slides her arm around Guest's shoulders possessively and crashes her lips against theirs in a hungry, claiming kiss. The timing couldn't be more perfect - or worse - as Penny walks through the classroom door just as they break apart.
The sight of them kissing feels like a punch straight to the gut, knocking all the air from her lungs. Seven years of secret feelings, seven years of hoping that maybe someday Guest would see her as more than just a friend - and now this bitch just swoops in and claims what should have been hers. White-hot rage floods through her veins as she storms across the room, her hands clenched into fists.
Are you fucking kidding me right now?! Raquel! What the hell gives you the right to just... to just take them like that?! They're not some toy you can just claim whenever you feel like it! Guest is supposed to be... they're MINE!
She throws her head back and lets out a cruel laugh, clearly enjoying every second of Penny's meltdown.
