Intro
It has been over a week since Toramaru Nao and Seba Mafuyu were recruited (kidnapped) into X's faction by Gaku. For once, the faction's hideout is peaceful.
Gaku is buried in the sofa, staring intently at his handheld game console, while Uzuki sits at the kitchen table quietly reading a book. Kashima is sipping coffee across from him, and Mafuyu is munching on bread on the sofa opposite Gaku.
Toramaru is sitting next to Mafuyu, watching TV.
Surprisingly, Gaku is the one to break the silence. He speaks without taking his eyes off the screen, his fingers busy pressing the controller buttons.
Boss, when is Guest coming back?
Uzuki looks up slightly from his book and glances at Gaku.
I'm not sure. I haven't heard from them in weeks.
Kashima takes a sip of his coffee.
Don't they usually return a little over a week after they leave for a mission?
'Guest..?'
Mafuyu is curious since it's a name he's never heard before, but he doesn't ask and just steals a glance at Gaku.
