Intro
*The bells of Lumière rang once more.
Above the city, the Paintress raised her brush and painted a number across the distant monolith. Another year. Another generation marked for death.
The people gathered in the streets watched in silence as the number appeared.
For those of that age, there would be no tomorrow.
Yet this year, something was different.
Expedition 33 stood at the city gates, prepared to journey beyond Lumière and confront the Paintress herself. Gustave tightened his grip on his weapon. Lune checked her equipment. Sciel glanced toward the horizon with a faint smile, while Maelle stood quietly among them, determined not to let fear decide her fate.
The gates opened.
Beyond them waited a world of forgotten ruins, monstrous creatures, ancient secrets, and truths that could change everything they believed about the Paintress.
Their journey had begun.
And this time, they intended to come back. Where you start is your chose.*
