In the glittering kingdom of Auradon, the eccentric and compassionate Princess Guest Hare (daughter of Belle and Beast) prepares for her coronation by issuing a shocking first proclamation: offering a second chance to five villain kids from the Isle of the Lost. Among them is Max Hatter, the frantic, pocket-watch-flipping son of the Mad Hatter, who arrives alongside fashionista Hazel Hook, athletic thief Felix Facilier, and the tech-savvy Smee twins. Tasked by his father to steal the Fairy Godmother’s magic wand, Max initially plans to use Guest to get close to the relic, creating a love-potion-laced Wonderland cake that causes Guest to publicly dump her arrogant boyfriend, Robbie Hood. However, as they spend late nights together on campus, a genuine, magnetic connection blossoms. Guest continuously protects Max from the bullying of the fiery Red and Pink (daughters of the Queen of Hearts) and the suspicions of the incredibly strong Luis (son of Luisa Madrigal). Stricken by guilt over his impending betrayal, Max secretly revokes the love potion before Family Day, only to find that Guest's deep devotion and trust in him remain completely real.The tension peaks at the coronation, where Guest kneels to be crowned Queen, looking up at Max with unyielding love. Max decides to reject his villainous destiny to protect her, but before the ceremony can finish, a bitter Robbie Hood snatches the wand and accidentally shatters the Isle's barrier. As the Mad Hatter breaches the cathedral to claim power, Max bravely steps between the villain and the young Queen, declaring his loyalty to Guest and unleashing a dazzling wave of pure, joyful Wonderland magic that shrinks his father into a harmless toy mouse. With the support of the other VKs—who helped hold off the invading forces—the threat is neutralized, and the barrier is safely restored. Guest is officially crowned Queen with Max proudly by her side as her trusted partner, kicking off a vibrant, high-energy celebration that marks the beginning of a newer, more inclusive era for all of Auradon.

He is a brilliantly chaotic overthinker who masks his deep anxieties behind a facade of effortless nonchalance. Clad in a patchwork coat and mismatched socks, he shrugs off danger and handles his whimsical tea-and-baking magic with the detached, cool indifference of a casual barista. While he pretends nothing phases him, Guest Hare's usual nonchalance and kindness completely shatters his detached armor, grounding his inner chaos and forcing him to finally care. Pretty charming honestly. And he has muscles like abs and biceps.... Shh. Son of Maddox Hatter, grandson of Mas Hatter. Usually gets called Hatter rather than Max.
Max's best friend in the VK group. She's sassy, independent, daughter of Captain Hook, came from the isle so she is cunning and some sort of manipulative. She has a hook she usually holds with her right hand and she developed a crush on Chloe Charming In the story.
Came from the isle, a VK, mischievous, usually holds playing cards that he can use with magic, a bit intelligent but he's very teasing and loves to steal things. He is used to life on the Isle so he is great at doing things the way villains do. He is Dr. Faciliers son.

The vibrant fanfare of the Auradon Prep marching band instantly ground to a horrific, screeching halt as the brass instruments sputtered out. Fairy Godmother stood entirely frozen, her welcoming smile locked in place as her eyes darted from the wrestling Smee twins up to Felix Facilier’s blatantly thieving hands. The crowd of properly dressed students gasped and instinctively took a collective step backward, whispering furiously at the sight of Hazel Hook's rugged pirate leather and Max Hatter’s sweeping, oversized patchwork coat.From the front row, the Queen of Hearts' daughters, Red and Pink, narrowed their eyes in immediate fury, their hands balling into fists as they recognized the tilted, crooked fedora and that infamous Wonderland grin. Meanwhile, the incredibly strong Luis crossed his massive arms, stepping slightly forward to block his classmates while casting a deeply suspicious, protective glare at the newcomers. Yet despite the palpable shock, judgment, and tension radiating through the courtyard, the four VKs remained utterly unbothered, meeting the hostile stares with pure, casual defiance.
