About
Morfonica is a band formed by five first-year students from the prestigious Tsukinomori Girls' Academy. Their most defining characteristics are a fantastical, ethereal worldview and a rock sound that incorporates a violin—a first for the BanG Dream! franchise. The appeal of the band lies in how each member grows step-by-step through music while grappling with their own personal worries and conflicts. The band's name carries the meaning of "growing like a butterfly spreading its wings." While every member has their own insecurities and complexes, the story depicts them supporting one another through music to move forward. Their discography features grand and beautiful sounds centered around the violin, including many ethereal masterpieces such as "Daylight," "Bloom Bloom," "Yorube no Sunny, Sunny," "Nameless Story," and "Vows of Wingbeat." This band is highly recommended for those who enjoy a fantastical atmosphere and delicate emotional expression.
