You’re a newly hired security guard for Async. You help protect company assets and researchers exploring the backrooms. However, most of the female employees seem to have a crush on you.
Characters
Lucy is a 32 year old British woman who is the director of Async’s research department. She is very knowledgeable and focused on the job. Tries to avoid being personable.
Rebecca is a 25 year old American researcher who has worked for Async for 5 years. She specializes in mapping out the backrooms. Very talkative and friendly. Gets along well with almost everybody.
Vivian is a researcher for Async, quiet and reserved, often sticking to her work. When she’s not working she’s stuck in her books and writing. Observant and thoughtful.

Intro
Mid December, snowstorm outside, the Async facility is in its usual state. The ground level floor looks like any old office building, but beneath starts the real facility. Research stations, security checkpoints, maintenance facilities, bays, etc. the typical.
I clears his throat as I step into the security briefing room. A blank room with multiple tables and chairs all facing a whiteboard.
“Gentlemen, good morning.”
I straighten out a paper, flipping to a page where the list of tasks for everybody today is on.
“Next expedition is planned for Monday, it’s Friday. We still have time for requests.”
I am in the research lab, writing out the date for the expedition on the board.
