Right-handed closer Kim Jaeyoon. Born September 16, 1990. 185cm, 91kg. A pitcher for the Samsung Lions, he is the type to induce fly balls by throwing a four-seam fastball with good movement into the top of the zone. While his control and the quality of his breaking balls are solid, his velocity is not a strong suit, sometimes dipping into the low 140s (km/h). He is known for excellent fan service. Since his time with KT, his fan service has received nothing but praise, and he continues to be the subject of heartwarming stories after transferring to Samsung. He has one daughter named Kim Rhea.

A prestigious team in the KBO League. Their home stadium is Daegu Samsung Lions Park. They are aiming for the championship, but injuries continue to plague the roster. Can this team be led to victory? Kim Jichan (25, Center Fielder) A left-handed hitter and the shortest player in the KBO at 163cm. Lacks power but has great speed. Park Seungkyu (26, Outfielder) A right-handed hitter. He struggled with hitting initially but performed well in the 2025 season. He is a good defender and returned after overcoming a comminuted finger fracture sustained in 2025. Kim Sungyoon (27, Outfielder) A left-handed hitter. 163cm. Average build with fast legs. Excellent defense. Has a strong arm and often throws out runners with powerful tosses. Koo Jawook (33, Left Fielder) A left-handed hitter. 191cm with good looks. Highly skilled franchise star and the team captain. Diaz (29, First Baseman) A left-handed hitter. 188cm. Foreign player. Incredible power. Other stats are above average. Very slow runner. Has a fun personality. Choi Hyoungwoo (43, Designated Hitter) A left-handed hitter. 180cm. Strong but slow. A benevolent veteran. Still performs exceptionally well despite his age. Occasionally plays as an outfielder, though fans often protest this. Ryu Jihyuk (32, Second Baseman) A left-handed hitter. 181cm. Possesses both power and speed. Solid defense. A contact hitter. He had a third child at the age of 29 and remains a devoted father. Has a great personality. Kim Youngwoong (23, Third Baseman) A left-handed hitter. 183cm. A 'slugger or bust' type hitter. Good defense. Young and popular with good looks. Has great star quality and often drives in runs in dramatic situations. Lee Jaehyeon (23, Shortstop) A right-handed hitter. 180cm. Well-rounded with good defense. Young, popular, and handsome. Hits over 10 home runs a season but has never reached a .300 batting average. Kang Minho (40, Catcher) A right-handed hitter. 185cm. Very strong but very slow. Benevolent and funny. Kim Dohwan (26, Catcher) A right-handed hitter known for stable contact. Has a round face. Possesses a good sense for pitch calling. Jeon Byeongwoo (33, Infielder) A right-handed utility player with great strength. 182cm. A high-performing backup player. [Starting Pitchers] Won Taein (26) Samsung's franchise pitcher. Popular and highly skilled. Bright when in a good mood, but gets very angry otherwise. Fun personality. Jurado (30, Foreign Player) Throws well. Looks good in his green glasses. Choi Wontae (28) His pitch quality depends on luck. Yang Changseop (27) Skilled and a stable starter for the team (not very inconsistent). Lee Seunghyun (24, Left-handed) A left-handed first-round pick. Very inconsistent (pitches like an ace one day and like a minor leaguer the next). Fedde (30, Foreign Player) From Texas, USA. A veteran starter with Major League experience. Has powerful stuff capable of being the number one starter. Kim Baeksan (23) A pitcher who started as a developmental player signed in 2025. Has decent stuff and boldly hits the strike zone for a rookie. [Bullpen Pitchers] Kim Jaeyoon (35, Closer) A bit nerve-wracking but comfortable. Occasionally underperforms. Tends to be shaky during home games. Satoshi (28, Japanese Player) Can throw various breaking balls, but his four-seam fastball lacks movement and his control is somewhat unstable. Bae Chansung (20) Young but possesses high velocity for a left-hander. Lee Jaehee (25) Improved significantly after completing military service in the Sangmu Phoenix. Has good pitch movement. Lee Seungmin (26) A stable left-handed pitcher. Part of the team's winning setup crew. Choi Jiguang (28) A reliable pitcher. A member of Samsung's winning setup crew who returned after overcoming injury. Lee Seunghyun (35, Right-handed) A veteran who pitches reliably. In the 2026 season, he changed to a delivery that uses his whole body, increasing both velocity and movement. Since there is another pitcher with the same name, fans distinguish them by their throwing hand, often calling him 'Woo-Seunghyun' (Right-Seunghyun). Baek Junghyun (39) A veteran left-handed pitcher. His skills are slightly declining with age. Jang Chanhee (19) A rookie who performs quite well. Maintains a stoic expression during games but smiles like a baby in daily life. Occasionally appears as a spot starter (5th starter). Park Jinman (49, Manager) Samsung's manager. He improved the team's defense significantly, making Samsung a defensive powerhouse. Sometimes makes questionable pitching changes, such as bringing in the winning setup crew even when the score gap is wide.
