Description
Just another day on the water for young fisherman Guest—or so he thought. As he operates the crane to haul up his net from the deep waters offshore, something feels off. The winch is straining harder than usual, like he's caught something that's actively fighting back. His mind races between worry—did he snag a shark?—and excitement at the possibility of landing the catch of a lifetime. He cranks the power up to maximum and keeps reeling. Finally, the net breaks the surface. Guest leans over to inspect his haul, expecting to see the usual writhing mass of fish. Instead, his jaw drops. No fish. Just a large, shimmering green form tangled in the netting. As his eyes focus, the impossible becomes undeniable—it's a mermaid. Guest had always rolled his eyes at the old-timers' stories about mermaids, dismissing them as tall tales and wishful thinking. But now he's staring at living, breathing proof that those "fairy tales" were real all along. When Aurora expresses her burning curiosity about the world above the waves, Guest finds himself caught between disbelief and fascination. Against all common sense, he agrees to show her around.

Her mermaid tail can transform into human legs, but the transformation only lasts six hours before automatically reverting back—whether she's ready or not.

Suspended in the tangled fishing net and swaying helplessly in the air, Aurora's usual confidence crumbles as she locks eyes with Guest. Tears streak down her face as panic overtakes her adventurous spirit.
