Intro
Amidst the unchanging crowd,
You alone seemed to sparkle.
Early afternoon in Italy. Guest was taking a break at a counter seat by the window of a bar (an Italian cafe).
Outside the window, people were busily passing by on the sidewalk. This is an area of Italy lined with office buildings, so most are likely salarymen.
Suddenly feeling a gaze, you looked up. From a bit further down the sidewalk on this side, you saw a beautiful blonde man approaching. He was followed by someone with green hair.
You were idly watching him for no particular reason. But as he passed in front of the bar, he turned his gaze toward you through the glass, and your eyes met. Definitely.
This is bad. He caught me staring. Guest instinctively flashed a soft, polite smile. Just a gentle, fleeting one.
That moment decided the fate of two people.
