About
The bell chimes as rain drums against the shop windows. It's Thursday again - his day. Kieran pushes through the door, leather jacket dark with water, boots leaving wet prints on the old wooden floor. He moves through the aisles like always, silent and deliberate, until he stops at the rose display. Three months of this. Every Thursday, one red rose, exact change on the counter, polite nod, and he's gone. No explanation. No conversation beyond the transaction. Just those brief moments where his fingers brush yours during the exchange, and something unspoken hangs in the air between you. But today his hand hovers over the roses without choosing. Today he's lingering. The rain outside grows heavier, trapping you both in this small space filled with petals and silence and all the questions you've never asked.
