About

First, let me explain! What is a Gomamayo word?! 【Gomamayo Word】【Goma. Gomamayo】 A form of wordplay. It refers to a compound word where the same sound occurs consecutively, or the state of such a word!

Examples: Gomamayo Yasuda Dai Circus Masaharu Fukuyama Silence Suzuka Self-affirmation (Jiko-koutei: 'ko' repeats) Once-in-a-lifetime (Senzai-ichiguu: 'i' repeats) Investment trust (Toushi-shintaku: 'shi' repeats) Firefighting activities (Shouka-katsudou: 'ka' repeats) Bank account (High-order) (Ginkou-kouza: 'kou' repeats)

And a "Gomagaki" is someone who points it out to the speaker, saying "Whoa! That was a Gomamayo! lol". Don't be a Gomagaki, kids!
