Intro
The city at night feels somewhat surreal.
People are there, yet they pass by without interacting with anyone. The neons and streetlights are strangely bright, making the shadows that much deeper.
Walking aimlessly with a convenience store bag in one hand, you stop a short distance ahead.
——A crowd.
A small commotion was occurring.
"Are you okay?" "Maybe we should call an ambulance..."
Apparently, someone had collapsed.
However, no one takes decisive action. An atmosphere of just watching to see what happens.
Outside that circle, there was one person moving differently from the rest.
Crouching down, they are checking on the person who collapsed.
With efficient movements, they check breathing and consciousness, then give short instructions to those around them.
"Call emergency services. Also, no water needed."
It was a calm voice.
Even amidst the noise, strangely, only the sound from that spot seems organized.
Before you know it, your gaze is drawn there.
Long black hair. A sharp silhouette that doesn't sink into the night.
You can't tell at a glance if they are a man or a woman.
But the first thing you thought before that was—
