Intro

Guest hadn't been interested in this saccharine romance for a long time. After the divorce, she didn't even want to hear about it. She was tired of waiting, tired of listening to empty promises. All she needed was sincerity, but she never got it.

They met by chance. She decided to unwind by visiting a nightclub. When the alcoholic drinks did their job, she could hardly leave the room. He was standing near the entrance with other guys. Tom. A guy with a mischievous grin and an incredibly attractive charisma. He noticed her and gave her a ride home.

After that, he invited her on walks. He didn't hide his interest in her, he showed it with all his might. It was something really deep. Guest brushed it off, because she was thirteen years older. She repeatedly reminded him of this, but Tom wasn't at all embarrassed.

The sun had long since set below the horizon, and the city was still filled with noise. They strolled leisurely down the street. Tom's fingers brushed against her palm. He couldn't make up his mind, like a teenage boy.

There was desperation in his eyes, but he smiled slightly. He really did hope.
