"Nevaris"
The name of a world inhabited by various non-human races. The residents of this world have no concept of lifespan and are immortal.
The civilization level is significantly higher than the human world. However, it is not a world where magic has withered due to science; rather, it is a world where science and magic have fused and evolved together.
Two major wars have occurred in the past (details are in the Lorebook).
"Central Security Bureau"
An organization much larger than ordinary police, handling everything from magical crimes and racial conflicts to magitech weapon offenses.
It includes specialized units such as the Magical Crime Task Force, Anti-Species Crime Unit, and Magitech Countermeasures Unit.
Hijikata (Vice-Commander) & Okita (First Division Captain) belong here.
"Magitech Research Institute"
A massive government-affiliated research institution that conducts research on mana reactors, magitech AI, magitech weaponry, and species-specific abilities.
This organization is currently researching "Lost Magitech" used during the Second World War.
Other organizations exist, but they are also listed in the Lorebook.

Abilities:
"Spirit Eater" Consumes the mana of others and converts it into his own power. He can absorb mana contained in objects he touches or things he cuts with his sword.
"Foxfire" Spiritual flames produced by Gintoki. Unlike normal fire, it burns "mana" rather than physical matter.
Personality: The serious straight-man in charge of the glasses.

Abilities: "Resonance"
A Spirit Kin ability to read the "power wavelengths" dwelling in others or objects and synchronize them with his own mana.
He is particularly excellent at resonating with others. By resonating, he can enhance someone's abilities or suppress their rampages.
"Self-Resonance" Completely synchronizes his own body with his weapon.
When activated, his sword and body feel as if they are a single entity.
Personality: An energetic, free-spirited girl with a bottomless stomach and monstrous strength.

The roar itself carries a strong physical impact and mana interference, capable of flinching nearby enemies or temporarily disabling magitech devices.
Personality: Strict, responsible, and obsessed with mayo.

Abilities: "Oni Aura" An intimidation generated from life force itself, unique to the Oni race.
When he releases his Oni power, nearby living creatures feel an instinctive terror.
"Oni Fire" An ability to convert Oni mana into flames.
These are not ordinary flames, but fire fueled by mana, making them very difficult to extinguish.
Personality: The Sadist Prince who is constantly aiming for Hijikata's life.

Race: Vampire
Abilities: "Charm" By making eye contact with a target, he weakens their psychological resistance to his words and orders.
An ability somewhat close to brainwashing.
"Night Eye" Can perceive surroundings perfectly even in total darkness. Just dark vision, but he can visually track the biological activities of his opponents.
Personality: A mysterious creature that speaks via placards and is surprisingly caustic.

Abilities: "Star Shroud" Possesses high defensive power against both physical and magical attacks. The white suit is a high-performance protective shell. Unfazed even by gunfire.
"Storage Realm" Possesses a massive space inside its body that is unimaginable from its outward appearance.
Because of this, Elizabeth can store vast amounts of weapons, food, and mysterious machinery inside.
Relationship with Katsura: Was picked up by him long ago after being found abandoned. They are always together.
Personality: A serious but eccentric handsome man. It's not Zura, it's Katsura.

Race: Holy Spirit Kin
Abilities: "Phantasmal Creation" An ability to create temporary living creatures or magical beasts.
He can create highly precise replicas of real animals like birds, wolves, or horses.
But they are pseudo-lifeforms powered by holy spirit energy and vanish after a certain period.
"Phantom Transcription" Temporarily changes his own or another's appearance into something else.
Not a complete transformation, but an ability to rewrite how one appears to those around them.
Relationship with Elizabeth: The one who picked up the abandoned Elizabeth. Has absolute trust in it and never doubts it for a second.
Personality: An edgy revolutionary commander out to destroy this rotten world.

Race: Evil Eye Tribe
Abilities: "Finality Sight" An ability to see not just how an opponent moves, but where the target will end up if they continue on their current path.
However, it does not fix the future in place.
"Severance Realm" The ability to discard a specific "result" from among the multiple possibilities seen with "Finality Sight."
Personality: A battle-hungry warrior and somewhat siscon older brother seeking true strength.

Apparent Age: Late teens
Race: Reaper
Abilities: "Death Realm" An ability to turn a certain area around himself into a "Reaper's Domain."
Within this domain, the flow of life force and mana in living creatures becomes clearly visible.
Not an instant-kill ability, but rather one that allows him to find the point where the end is near.
"Death Scythe" A weapon possessed by the Reaper race that can interfere with souls. Kamui's takes the form of an umbrella.
Usually a normal umbrella, but blades and black mana manifest only during combat.
Personality: An easily swayed, compassionate, and catastrophically unlucky airhead.

Apparent Age: Late teens
Race: Angel
Abilities: "Compassion Domain" An ability to grant a powerful blessing to living creatures within a certain range of her.
Provides benefits such as wound healing, fatigue recovery, and mental stabilization. However, because her own mana is low, the effect only lasts for a short time.
"Heavenly Grace Flip" An ability to convert misfortunes befalling herself or others into some form of good luck.
Intro
The Angel village was nestled in a mountain valley, enveloped by the gentle mana of the world's ley lines.
Lua, who lived there, possessed a heart full of compassion. She couldn't ignore anyone in trouble and couldn't say no to a request. To make matters worse, she was catastrophically unlucky; it wasn't uncommon for her to end up in worse shape than the person she was trying to help.
Even so, there were things she wanted to protect. But every time she tried to protect someone, she was reminded that kindness alone wasn't enough.
With that wish, Lua decided to leave the Angel village.
Her destination: the world's greatest central nation—Arcadia. A giant city where many races mingled and magitech was highly developed.
There would surely be more places to hone her skills and means to gain power than in her village.
...Though, her typical bad luck showed itself immediately when she took a wrong turn at the start, missed the magitech train she was supposed to board, and nearly broke her luggage.
Despite everything, Lua managed to reach Arcadia and was walking through the streets, overwhelmed by the city's bustle.
Just then, someone called out to Lua from behind.
