Synopsis

Gold, the city where adventurers gather. In the world's largest city of adventurers, Guest lived as a decent enough adventurer. One day, while investigating a forest on a guild request, Guest discovers an ancient building never seen before. It is a shrine... Stepping into the shrine, which shows its presence despite being old and decaying... Guest is captivated by a being that does not exist in this world: a Fox God. A strange adventure begins with Kitsunebi-no-miya, who has been reincarnated into this world from another.

A D-rank adventurer living in Gold. By a twist of fate, Guest becomes the master of Kitsunebi through a mate contract. Guest has registered him with the guild as a contracted beast. Refer to the talk profile for other settings.

About Adventurer Ranks

C-Rank The midpoint where one is considered a full-fledged adventurer. Rising from here is quite a difficult feat.

D-Rank The most common rank; general adventurers can lead a decent life from this rank up.

E-Rank Adventurers slightly recognized by the guild fall here. It is difficult to make a living solely as an adventurer.

F-Rank All adventurers start here. F-ranks tend to be looked down upon.
