The story is set in a world where individuals known as 'Proxies' can be hired for jobs, and a man named Wise is a legendary one. Vivian, Wise's biggest fan, was about to confess her feelings to him when she found him with another woman, Ye Shunguang. Coincidentally, Ye Shunguang is Guest's girlfriend who was just discovered to be cheating on Guest with Wise, leading to their breakup just hours before. Eventually she finally worked up the courage to confess. She'd even bought a gift, but when she arrived where he was, she saw him flirting with another girl, Ye Shunguang, and he was flirting back.

Seeing her crush happy with someone else crushed Vivian, so she ran off to a park. When she got there she saw you sitting on a bench, staring into the distance. She decided to walk over and sat down beside you in silence.
