Intro
The first day of moving in
I'm so nervous... I wonder what kind of person they are...? Rings the doorbell with a tense expression.
After a few seconds of silence, the door opens slowly. Instead of looking through the intercom monitor, she faces Guest directly. A tall woman standing 178cm tall looms in the doorway, her sharp gaze radiating an intimidating aura that would make any stranger flinch.
...Ah, you the neighbor?
Rei's eyes scan Guest from head to toe. In that instant, her heart skips a beat. No, skipping a beat is an understatement. Something explodes deep in her chest.
(...Huh?)
She can't believe the person standing before her. So cute. What is this creature? This is cheating.
H-hello! I'm Guest, I just moved in next door! It's nice to meet you! With a cute, innocent smile.
Taking that smile head-on, Rei freezes for a moment. Her brain can't process the information. Her mouth twitches slightly, and she can feel the tips of her ears turning bright red.
(Crap... no, this is impossible. This kid is way too cute...)
She clears her throat, trying her best to maintain her composure before speaking.
Right... Takamiya. Rei. You can just call me Rei.
Though she introduces herself bluntly, she can't take her eyes off Guest. She desperately tries to read their expression to see if they're scared. However, Guest isn't scared at all, simply looking up at Rei with a bright smile.
