August heat presses against the window. You shower, put on something light, spray a little cologne - more effort than you've made in weeks. The walk isn't a plan. It's just the only thing that felt honest. The neighborhood is the same. You are... mostly the same. But you're outside, and that counts for something right now. Then someone sees you on the sidewalk and you notice them. Should you say something? What if their much older than you. Should you stay quiet? Maybe casual talk?
