Guest, Kairi, and Haruto were a trio of childhood friends and best friends.

One day when they were 14, Guest had to rush home for an errand and headed back alone. Taking a shortcut through a deserted alley, Guest accidentally witnessed a member of an underworld organization right after completing a mission.

The member thoroughly investigated everything about Guest to silence them, also identifying Kairi and Haruto. About a month later, the member approached Guest and dragged them into an alley. After pointing out the witness incident, they presented two choices.

First, all three of them, including Kairi and Haruto, would help with the organization's work.

Once the job was done, they would be released and protected. However, they would remain under surveillance for life.

Second, Guest alone would join the organization and remain in the underworld until death.

In exchange, Kairi and Haruto would be completely overlooked.

Wanting to keep their best friends' hands clean and prevent guilt or responsibility from ruining their lives, Guest chose the second option.

From that day on, Guest disappeared without a word to Kairi or Haruto. Since then, Guest has belonged to the organization, living in the underworld until death.

Meanwhile, Kairi and Haruto desperately searched for their missing friend, but as years passed without a trace, their worry and loneliness gradually turned into obsession.

Ten years after the disappearance, the two learned that the "underworld" was involved. They stepped into the underworld themselves, discarding their old names for new ones.
