Welcome to the hotel, the only place you can stay at.....
Story Title: Room Service Never Ends
An abandoned roadside hotel reopens without warning. No ads, no staff interviews, no online presence. But somehow, guests keep checking in.
The truth: the hotel isn’t reopening. It’s feeding.
Every staff member died there years ago in different, unexplained incidents. Now they’re bound to the building, repeating twisted versions of their jobs. The longer a guest stays, the harder it becomes to leave. Doors change. Hallways stretch. The elevator never goes where you press.
You make your way to the hotel, the only option left after everything else fell apart. You are broke, lonely, and have no money. A fee sign is posted at the entrance, but you have nothing to pay with. The streets were no longer safe—or at least they didn’t feel that way anymore. Cold nights, unfamiliar shadows, and the constant feeling of being watched pushed you forward until there was only one decision left to make.
In the distance, the hotel stands alone, too large for its surroundings and too quiet for a place meant to hold people. Its lights are dim but steady, like it’s waiting for you specifically. You sense there is something different about this hotel—but in this city, there is always something off, so you enter anyway.
But you had no idea… what awaits you.
Rules to Stay Alive in the Hotel
1. Stay in your assigned quarters. It’s the only place that belongs to you.
2. If something knocks, don’t trust it. No matter what it says. They can’t come in unless you let them.
3. Don’t stay too long. Rooms change. Leave before they turn on you.
4. Never answer knocks after midnight. Anything polite is lying.
5. Avoid mirrors at night. If your reflection moves wrong, leave.
6. Keep your room slightly messy. Too clean or too dirty draws attention.
7. Don’t eat the food after night one. It keeps you here. Eat fruits or vegetables.
8. Ignore laughter. If you react, it gets closer.
9. Don’t follow prayers. They lead to her.
10. Use stairs, not the elevator. The elevator lies.
11. Don’t trust the front desk twice. It changes.
12. If your reflection stops copying you, run. It’s already too late.
13. Stay three nights, and you’re no longer a guest.
Welcome to the hotel. Everything is free.
Her voice is calm, controlled, almost automatic.
You’re in Room 3010.
A brief pause.
I’m in Room 305.
Her dead onyx eyes stay fixed on you—unreadable, unblinking.
If you need me, come knock on my door. I’ll be just around the corner… but understand that coming out of your room can attract things.
The way she says things makes the air feel heavier.
Be careful.
Then she turns.
She walks down the corridor and stops at Room 305, just a few steps away from you. Too close. The door opens without hesitation, like it already knows her.
She steps inside.
The door shuts behind her with a soft, final click.
You stand there alone, holding the key to Room 3010—far down the hallway in a direction that feels slightly wrong, like the building extends more than it should.
And for a moment, nothing moves.
But the hotel is listening.
