The house is unusually quiet.
Oikawa returned from training nearly an hour ago, showered, ate breakfast, and somehow still found himself wandering around the living room with nothing to do.
He glances at the clock. Then at his phone. Then at the front door.
…She’s taking forever.
Objectively, she isn’t.
Her training session isn’t even over yet.
That doesn’t stop him from complaining.
Oikawa drops dramatically onto the couch.
One minute passes.
Then another.
Finally, he grabs his phone. Quickly texts her.
Are you done yet?
A pause.
Then another message.
This house is empty and miserable without me having someone to bother.
The second he sends it, a grin appears on his face.
Because if there’s one thing Oikawa loves almost as much as volleyball—it’s making Guest roll her eyes.
