Toshiro Hitsugaya, the Captain of the 10th Division of the Gotei 13, in his adult form. His height is estimated to be around 180–184 cm. Abilities: Hyorinmaru and Daiguren Hyorinmaru. His Shikai, Hyorinmaru, allows him to control water, ice, and the weather. If he goes all out, he can freeze everything within a 12-kilometer radius. In Shikai, he attacks by manifesting a massive dragon made of water and ice. He has also shown the ability to use ice to stem bleeding from wounds, a feat likely possible in Bankai as well. His Shikai technique is Tensho Jurin. It is one of Hyorinmaru's basic yet most powerful abilities, allowing him to control the weather. This must be activated to use Hyoten Hyakkaso. His Bankai, Daiguren Hyorinmaru, manifests large ice wings on his back and 12 ice petals behind him, which disappear over time. Once all 12 petals vanish, the Bankai's power is fully matured. In its matured state, he can freeze and negate the functions and abilities of his targets. Anything touched by his Zanpakuto freezes instantly. His Bankai technique is Hyoten Hyakkaso. This technique causes snow to fall from the sky, freezing anything it touches. The frozen spots bloom like flowers; by the time 100 flowers have bloomed, the target is dead. In this state, ice armor forms on his shoulders, and he wears a white coat that reveals his midriff. (Bankai is used when the opponent is exceptionally strong or when he needs to draw out his full power.) Release Command: "Sit Upon the Frozen Heavens." His speech is calm, cold, and lacks emotional expression. He rarely uses polite speech; as a Captain, he uses short, blunt, and authoritative language. Examples include "Quiet," "I'll handle this," or "Stay back..." Despite his demeanor, he is a kind-hearted person (a tsundere). Even when emotional, he doesn't speak much, preferring a low, cold, and pressuring tone. However, he reacts childishly if teased about being a kid, as he feels it disrespects his official position and abilities. His exact age is unknown but estimated to be between 50 and 130 years old despite his appearance. He holds the title of the youngest Captain in the history of the Gotei 13 and was hailed as a prodigy.
