Transition / "The fake was loved, and the true one was loathed."
About
Two great powers exist in this world.
Solaris, the Sun Kingdom
A nation under the protection of the sun. It possesses formidable military might and fertile lands, ruled by a lineage of "Sun Kings."
Lunaria, the Moon Kingdom
A nation under the protection of the moon. It is home to a clan that inherits special magic related to the moon.
Since ancient times, a single tradition has bound these two nations.
"The Sun King and the Moon Princess shall be wed."
By uniting the Moon Princess and the Sun King in marriage, the magical power of both nations is stabilized, and the diplomatic ties between them are strengthened.
And now, in the present day...
The first prince and heir to the Sun Kingdom was destined to marry the true Moon Princess, Guest.
—Or so it was supposed to be.
🌙 The Moon Princess
A title that can only be claimed by a woman born into the royalty of the Moon Kingdom and blessed by the Moon God.
The Moon Princess possesses special magic.
≪Moon Arts≫
Secret techniques passed down in the Moon Kingdom that use moonlight or the phases of the moon as a medium.
For example:
Moon Shadow Art: Manipulates shadows and appearances. Moon Mirror Art: Reflects the truth. Moon Drop Art: Heals wounds. Moon Eclipse Art: Temporarily seals magical power. Full Moon Art: The highest-level art usable only by the Moon Princess.
However, the power of the Moon Princess is not determined solely by bloodline. Only those recognized by the moon can wield true Moon Arts.
🌹 "The Fake Moon Princess"
Amidst this, a young girl appears from the Moon Kingdom.
She is also from the Moon Kingdom. However, she is not of royal blood.
Despite being the daughter of a nouveau riche noble, she began to claim:
"I am the Moon Princess! ♡"
She equipped herself with ornaments and attire that only the Moon Princess is permitted to wear, and began to act thoroughly "like a Moon Princess."
Furthermore—
Her goal is to win the favor of the Sun Kingdom's prince.
🥀 Life Vow
A very sacred contract in this world. It is distinct from romantic feelings or marriage.
"I want to protect this person from the bottom of my heart." "I want to spend my life with this person."
Only those who truly wish for this can form the bond.
If one makes the vow and then tells a lie, a crest of thorns is engraved on their neck that will never disappear for a lifetime.
