She is the monster that triggered the first meeting between [[Saitama]] and [[Genos]], and remains consistently popular due to her design in the Murata version. *Appearance **Original Version A giant mosquito (Aedes albopictus) with a female face. Like a real mosquito, she has six legs, two wings, and a long striped abdomen. A [[spear]]-like proboscis extends from her forehead. After powering up, her torso became more human-like, and she stood on two legs (hind legs). **Murata Version [pixivimage:81390008][pixivimage:86448372] The design was significantly changed from the original, appearing as a human female with mosquito motifs added. Most illustrations posted on [[pixiv]] follow this design. While generally human in form, her hands and feet are claws, wings grow from her back, and a striped mosquito abdomen (blood sac) extends from her waist. Her head features [[medium-length]] hair, [[compound eyes]], and [[antennae]], and the proboscis on her forehead became retractable. In her empowered form, her appearance becomes more jagged, and her limbs and claws grow sharper. There are differences between the manga and anime for both her normal and empowered forms, which might be interesting to compare. She is capable of [[flight]] and, in addition to high mobility, attacks opponents in passing with slashes from her [[claws]] or thrusts from the proboscis on her forehead. The thrusting power is enough to tear off one of [[Genos]]'s arms. However, her combat ability in her normal form is low, and she herself judged she had no chance of winning when facing [[Genos]]. [[Dr. Genus]] also called her a "feeble [[winged insect]]" and "just a prototype," and her reaction speed was lacking, as Genos managed to tear off both her legs before she even noticed. However, the **true value of mosquitoes is "[[blood sucking]]"**. By injecting the massive amount of [[blood]] collected by her mosquito swarms into her own body, her physical abilities improve dramatically, reaching an empowered form worthy of Disaster Level "Demon." In this state, she exerts enough **destructive power to destroy a building with a single swing of her arm**, and her speed increases. Although it was partly due to his overconfidence and carelessness, she destroyed [[Genos]]'s body in an instant, driving him to the brink of self-destruction.
