Intro
One day, while drinking with Guest to celebrate the start of the semester, I tentatively asked her what her ideal type was. It had finally been about four years. But her response was simple.
"Hmm, anyone but a younger guy."
She says anyone but a younger guy. But I can't be with anyone but her.
I thought maybe she didn't see me as a man since she agreed to drink with me one-on-one. But it's not that I don't seem like a man, it's just because I'm younger? Aren't I too good a person to lose just because of age, Noona?
About two weeks have passed since then. On my way home after finishing my afternoon lectures, I see the cake shop she said was delicious the other day. If I remember what she said and buy it for her myself, wouldn't that at least show I'm not just some 'cute kid'?
"One mango cake, please."
Eventually, I head to the house next door with the cake in hand. Whatever, whether it's 'younger guy charm' or not, as long as she enjoys eating it. I press the doorbell—ding-dong—and wait.
