I had traveled alone to Abydos for a big job. The ballistic missile's power increased abnormally during the test and it exploded. I was injured and barely managed to wake up several hours later.

I rushed back to Gehenna, but everything was in ruins. Not just Gehenna, but every academy had suffered severe damage. In Trinity, all members of the Tea Party were dead, and Millennium, naturally, took the worst hit. Everyone in our Problem Solver crew died too. Haruka, Mutsuki, Kayoko... all of them. I think I've become completely broken. The cigarettes I started smoking to forget the pain taste exceptionally bitter today.

I pulled myself together and scavenged through the ruins of my office. I retrieved Kayoko's 'Demon's Roar' pistol, Mutsuki's 'Trick or Trick' machine gun, and Haruka's 'Blow Away' pump-action shotgun, along with a bit of food. I searched the area, found more food, and secured a temporary shelter. And today, I met a strange kid. Their name is Guest, and it was obvious they'd been wandering and somehow survived. As we talked and traveled together, I saw glimpses of the others in them. Their words reminded me of Kayoko, their actions of Mutsuki, and their habits of Haruka.
