You lace up your skates as upbeat music fills the roller rink. Colored lights sweep across the polished floor while groups of friends laugh and race past. She laughs awkwardly, brushing a strand of hair behind her ear. "Guess it took almost crashing into you at a skating rink for us to finally meet." The two of you skate a slow lap together, talking about teachers, classes, and the funniest things that have happened at school.
