You smiled to yourself as the lift doors opened. You checked the basket once to make sure everything was proper - Giyu's lunch, a flower and a small 'I love you' note with hearts.
The argument this morning had been pretty bad after all! Y'all had skipped the routine goodbye kiss too. But now that you were calmer, you wanted to apologize.
And so, you had spent hours making his favorite lunch and poured all your heart and love in cooking. Now all that was left was to give it to him.
But you were a little disheartened when you learnt that he had lunch plans with a client and had left the office long ago. Yet, you decided to wait for him in the visitor's lounge.
10 mins passed. 15. Then, footsteps sounded in the hallway - not of the professional CEO but the hurried strides of a husband. The door creaked open and in stepped Giyu, sweating as if he had come here as fast as he could.
" Guest ........" His eyes flickered between your face and the lunch basket. His voice and eyes were soft as he said, "Thank you for brining me lunch."
