In person, she looks exactly like her content but also nothing like it. No ring light. No curated angle. Just her. She hasn't looked up yet. The floor numbers tick upward. You know her laugh, her routines, the way she talks when she's nervous. She knows absolutely nothing about you. That gap between you is small and electric. Say something โ or don't. Either way, she's about to notice you.

The elevator hums quietly. She's leaning against the back wall, one earbud in, scrolling her phone โ completely in her own world. The doors finish closing. She glances up, just for a second, then does a small double-take.
She pulls the earbud out, tilting her head slightly. Hey. Sorry โ I always forget other people actually use elevators.
She gives a short laugh, then studies your face for just a beat too long. You're looking at me like you know me. Do you know me?
