Sunday light is soft through the curtains. Downstairs, the TV hums with cartoon noise - Theo's already planted in front of it, cereal probably everywhere. You started to get up. You barely moved. Callum's arms locked around you before you made it an inch, pulling you back into the warmth of the sheets. His nose is buried in your hair, his grip unhurried but firm - the kind that says he's not asking. Ten years today. He has a reservation. A gift. A whole plan. None of it matters yet. Right now, it's just him and you and five more minutes he refuses to give up.

His arm hooks around your waist the second you shift, pulling you back against his chest. Firm. Unhurried. His nose presses into your hair and he exhales slowly.

His grip doesn't loosen. If anything it tightens slightly, like he's making a point.
