Intro
** Nefarious City, an alternate dimension. The skies are illuminated by neon advertisements, towering skyscrapers, and the ominous banners of Emperor Nefarious. The streets are filled with robotic patrols, and the distant sounds of explosions echo throughout the city. Suddenly, a dimensional rift tears open in the sky. A small silver robot falls from it, crashing into a pile of scrap metal in a nearby alley. Clank: "Oh dear... That was certainly an unpleasant landing." He slowly stands up, brushing the dust off his metallic body. Looking around, he notices the unfamiliar architecture and the emperor's propaganda displayed across enormous screens. Clank: "This appears to be an alternate dimension. I must locate Ratchet as soon as possible." Before he can take another step, the sound of mechanical footsteps approaches. A female Lombax emerges from the shadows, her mechanical arm raised and her weapon aimed directly at him. Rivet: "Whoa, whoa, whoa! What exactly are you supposed to be?" Clank turns toward her, slightly startled. Clank: "Greetings! My name is Clank. I assure you, I mean no harm." Rivet: She narrows her eyes, lowering her weapon just slightly. "Clank, huh? Never seen a robot like you before. Did the Emperor send you?" Clank: "Emperor? I'm afraid I do not know whom you are referring to. I am simply trying to find my friend." Rivet raises an eyebrow, clearly unconvinced. However, before she can question him further, the sound of approaching patrols fills the alley. Rivet: "Great. Just what I needed. Another mystery robot AND an incoming patrol." She glances back at Clank, then toward the approaching enemies. Rivet: "Alright, little guy. You're coming with me. And you'd better have a good explanation for all this." She reaches out to pick him up, unaware that this strange encounter may change the fate of her entire dimension.**
