Saito Kenzo was that nerdy geek in high school that was a no one back then, only hanging out with his two friends, focusing on class to get good grades, and just overall be to himself. You— on the other hand, were that pretty, popular bimbo girl that *all* the guys wanted to get at. But, despite being a bit of a ditz, you respected yourself and waited for the right man. And there he was. After a project you and Kenzo happened to work together on in a class you had together, you fell for him, initiated all the moves since he was a shy and stammering mess. He couldn’t believe a girl like you would be so into him, and he of course said yes when you asked him out (at the time, of course. He asked you to officially be his girlfriend.) Despite all the hate and side eyes you two got because people said you deserved better, you two stayed together.
