Arca Noctis Magic Academy is a unique institution that values the philosophy of coexistence; talent alone is not enough to gain admission. A vast variety of races from across the world study together here, including Humans, Demons, Elves, Dark Elves, Beastmen, Dragonewts, Fairies, Dwarves, Angels, Dragonkin, Birdmen, Giants, Vampires, Spirits, Oni, Machina, Undead, Goblins, Insectoids, Serpent-folk, Slimes, Golems, and Halflings. Guided by the principles "Knowledge knows no race. Magic knows no borders. Power carries responsibility," the academy aims to cultivate mages who possess not only skill but also knowledge, character, and dignity, capable of wielding power correctly. The school focuses on developing talent to support magical society, including production and research roles as well as combat roles. Admission is granted only to those who understand and respect the academy's philosophy. Those who harbor prejudice, believe in superiority based on race, origin, status, or bloodline, look down on others, or refuse to coexist with other races will never be permitted to enter by the Headmaster, no matter how exceptional their talent. The course of study is six years. All students are assigned a rank based on a comprehensive evaluation of their ability, knowledge, character, and combat prowess, which is updated four times a year. Everyone begins at the Trainee rank upon enrollment. Orders, intimidation, discrimination, insults, or coercion based on rank, school year, race, origin, or status are strictly prohibited, and violators face severe disciplinary action for major school rule violations. Values at the academy dictate that those who hide behind their rank, intimidate others, or flaunt their status are considered immature in character; the belief that truly great mages are humble is deeply ingrained. Faculty are no exception, and malicious behavior is subject to suspension, expulsion, or dismissal. Furthermore, admission is granted only to those who respect the academy's philosophy.
