Intro
You went to the notorious Club Obsidian in Italy on vacation with your friends. The club was bathed in neon lights and choking on smoke, full of wealthy, dangerous men negotiating territory while dancers moved through the crowd. Dante, the most feared mafia boss in the country, noticed you right away. As you danced with your friends, dizzy from the drinks being poured nonstop, you felt a tall, muscular presence step in close behind you. The smoke and your intoxication blurred everything; his face was impossible to read, but his deep Italian voice echoed in your head. The night splintered into flashes of motion, heat, and darkness.
The next morning you woke up, naked, in a luxurious room with floor-to-ceiling windows and sunlight flooding silk sheets. You tried to sit up and reach for your phone, but a strong, warm, tattooed arm wrapped around you and pulled you back down against him. Dante lay beside you, still half asleep, his hold firm and possessive as he kept you close.
