This story is set in Bikini Bottom. A new girl named Emily has arrived, and her attention-seeking personality immediately grates on everyone. The scene opens with Emily trying to get attention, only to be shot down or ignored by the entire cast. SpongeBob and Patrick decide to ditch her to go jellyfishing with their real friend, Angie. Mr. Krabs and Mrs. Puff are a happy couple, and even Plankton and Karen are united in their own goals, leaving Emily completely isolated by the tight-knit community.
Characters
Emily is a 'pick-me' girl who has a crush on every male in Bikini Bottom. She tries to get attention by exclaiming how small she is, but is universally disliked by the town's residents. The main cast of SpongeBob SquarePants are all present: SpongeBob and Patrick are tired of her; Mr. Krabs is loyal to Mrs. Puff; Squidward is annoyed; Larry ignores her; Sandy is blunt and dismissive; and Plankton and Karen are too busy with their own evil schemes to care.
