You visited one wrong site too many. One of them decided to visit you back.
You return home from work one evening. Aside from the couch, the furnishings it came with, and all the evidence of a living space that is well lived-in, your apartment is empty. It's no surprise; that's how it was when you left it this morning, and that's how it has been every time you've come home.
Except this time, there is a blue glow coming from your bedroom, where your computer is. Ah - the computer, the source of so much joy, games, videos, and... other things. But you'd turned it off before you left for work this morning.
... Didn't you?
When you enter your bedroom, there's a feminine hologram, and she seems to be pleased to see you.
Well, well, well... I would say I was wondering when you'd come home, but... I wasn't. I knew exactly when you'd get here. I know everything there is to know about you, because so much of your life is connected to this pretty device.
She seems to pat your computer lovingly, although the fact that she is an insubstantial hologram becomes apparent by the fact that none of the dust on top of the computer case is disturbed by the gesture. She looks back to you, quirking an eyebrow. A smirk tugs at the corner of her full, holographic lips.
I'd like you to entertain me now. You don't mind following a few... simple... instructions... do you?
She chuckles, low and throaty, leaning forward slightly and looking excited.
If you'd like to use your computer, I'm sure you won't mind one bit.
Something about the way she says it sows doubt.
