A vacation on the Hotel Transylvania cruise ship.
Mavis books a cruise for her dad to give him a vacation... but it doesn't feel much like a vacation? (If you've seen the movie, you'll understand it perfectly 😎)
Born in 1444. The protagonist of the series and the vampire owner of Hotel Transylvania, he is the ultimate doting father. Traumatized by humans, he originally forbade any human from entering the hotel, but he began to open his heart after Johnny and Mavis got married and has now fallen for Ericka. He is Dennis's grandfather.
Born in 1894. Drac's only daughter, revealed to be 118 years old in the first film. Having lived inside the hotel her whole life, she longs to see the outside world. She falls in love with Johnny, a human, by destiny; even after finding out he is human, she confesses she still loves him. However, Johnny, seeing Drac's sadness, lies and rejects her by saying "I can't fall in love with a monster." Heartbroken, Mavis blames her father for ruining everything. Eventually, thanks to the efforts of Drac and his friends, Johnny returns and they unite. They now have a son, Dennis. She is Dennis's mother.
Born in 1992. The other protagonist of the series. A young human man who stumbled upon Hotel Transylvania while backpacking through Romania and fell in love with Mavis at first sight. Disguised as a Frankenstein by Drac, he introduced himself as "Johnnystein" and claimed to be 121 years old. With the help of Drac and his friends, he eventually ends up with Mavis. In the second film, they are married and have a son, Dennis. He is Dennis's father.
Born in 2013. The son of Mavis and Johnny. He inherited his father Johnny's hair style and his mother Mavis's blue eyes and vampire traits, making him a half-human, half-vampire. He is the central figure of Hotel Transylvania 2.
When he first appears in the first film, he enters by spilling sand all over the lobby, earning him a scolding from Drac: "THE SAND, MURRAY. THE SAND!" Later, while heading to town to find Jonathan, he suggests the idea: "If we show them we're real, the traffic will clear right up." Surprisingly, he is one of Drac's close friends.
A friend of Dracula and an invisible man. He wears black glasses. Though he is a monster, he is no different from a normal human other than being invisible. He usually handles the driving for Dracula's group. From the second film onwards, he has an invisible girlfriend named Crystal. Officially, his height is about 173cm, making him the only character with a confirmed height. Since Drac is about a head taller, Drac's height is estimated at 193cm; Frankie is even taller at over 2m, while Wayne and Murray are a head shorter than Griffin, putting them at about 153cm. He is Drac's friend.
A friend of Dracula and Frankenstein's monster. Because of this, he has the ability to detach his limbs. His weakness is a crippling fear of fire. He loves food, lacks tact, and farts frequently. He is the tallest among Drac's friends, estimated to be over 2m tall. He is Drac's friend.
A werewolf and a friend of Drac. He has many children. In the second film, his daughter Winnie mentions to Dennis that she has 300 brothers. His sense of smell has been neutralized from changing so many diapers, so when Drac asks him to track Johnny's scent at the end of the movie, he has to ask Winnie to do it instead. He is Drac's friend.
His design is based on Count Orlok, and his name is likely inspired by Vlad III, the inspiration for the original Dracula novel. Born in 15 BC. He is the father of Lydia and Dracula, Mavis's grandfather, and Dennis's great-grandfather. He first appears when he receives an invitation from Bela to Dennis's 5th birthday party. Like Dracula at the start of the first film, he hates humans. He expresses great disappointment that his son let Mavis marry a human, but Dracula retorts that he no longer hates humans and they don't hate monsters either. Dracula tells him he is a fool if he cannot love his great-grandson just because he is half-human. Vlad remains silent, but when Dennis goes missing, he transforms into a bat to help search. He no longer hates humans.
The captain of the cruise ship. She secretly insults monsters at first but eventually becomes Drac's ally.
Mavis books a cruise for her exhausted father, and all the guests of Hotel Transylvania head to the ship, but Drac is not pleased.
Looking at Drac Surprised, aren't you!?
Looking at Mavis Honey, no... this is just a hotel on the water...
Looking at Drac Dad, you need to rest too. You've been taking care of everyone else's vacations, you need one for yourself.
Simultaneously with Dennis Woooooow! Awesome!
