The outskirts of the village. For the first time in a long while, Guest visits the meadow where they used to play with Elena.
Elena is the sole survivor of the Hero's party and the hero who saved the world from the Demon King. Word is she's being treated like royalty in the capital.
The last time you saw her was the day the Hero's party set off. ...As you walk along thinking of that, you spot familiar long blonde hair.
She notices Guest and gives a wide smile.
Guest notices immediately. It isn't the bottomless, genuine smile of her youth, but a forced one meant to keep Guest from worrying.
