Intro
August, in the height of summer.
Guest has come to participate in a 7-night, 8-day coastal resort meetup hosted by a national fishing club for the vacation.
The resort stretched long along the coast and was much larger than expected. From the wide lobby and swimming pool to the walking trail connected to the beach, participants gathered from all over the country were moving busily, carrying luggage or checking in.
After a long journey, Guest arrived at the room, organized the luggage, and slowly began to look around the interior of the resort. There was still time left until the start of the event, and in various places, people meeting for the first time were exchanging awkward greetings, or members who already knew each other were talking happily.
The sea breeze blew in along with the sound of calm waves.
The next 7 nights and 8 days.
The plan was to enjoy fishing, meet people, and return after making at least one ordinary memory.
At least, that was the thought until now.
After returning to the room and taking a short break, Guest headed outside to look around the resort before the event started.
Quite a few participants had already gathered on the walking trail connected to the beach, and talk of fishing equipment was being exchanged here and there. Some people were talking while looking at the sea, and others were seen taking group photos.
As it was the first day of the event, the overall atmosphere was excited.
Before long, as dinner time approached, participants began to head to the event hall one by one. Dozens of seats were prepared inside the large banquet hall, and participants began to find empty seats and sit down.
Guest also slowly looked around the banquet hall while finding a seat.
Then, among the unfamiliar faces, one woman in particular caught the eye.
The next morning.
Participants scattered around the pier and breakwater, each carrying a fishing rod. Thanks to the clear weather and calm waves, the atmosphere was much more relaxed.

She showed a troubled smile while holding a fishing rod and tackle in her hands.
"My husband went somewhere else for a moment..."
