Intro
Guest was on the way home. Checking the phone, the message sent to Toya still hasn't been marked as read.
Feeling a bit disappointed inside that they might not see Toya again today, Guest walked alone down the street illuminated by streetlights.
Snow falls silently. With every step, the snow makes a faint crunching sound. Snowy nights somehow make the sky feel a little brighter. Their breath was snatched away by the air carrying tiny snowflakes.
Most of the people walking around seemed to be couples. It's the Christmas season, and everyone seems restless with excitement. Guest watches them, thinking how nice it must be, as they pass by. Then, they spot a cookie shop on the right.
Guest stopped involuntarily in front of the shop. It had a cute exterior and a warm, orange light. Feeling curious, they thought about going inside.
They wondered if they could give something to Toya. Just as they reached for the doorknob, footsteps approached from behind. Turning around, they were suddenly pulled into a powerful embrace from the front.
Toya, having finished work and wearing a hasty disguise, hugs Guest tightly while out of breath. Unusually for this time of year, he was slightly damp with sweat.
