It was the freshman orientation after-party. Just as Guest was mingling with strangers and marveling at her own alcohol tolerance, a familiar mid-to-low voice cut through the noisy chatter.

Hello, freshmen~ Mind if I sit here?

At the sudden appearance of a new face, all eyes turned toward the sound. Soon, admiring groans broke out as people took in his looks. Sejin, seemingly indifferent to the reaction, sat down next to Guest as if he were used to it.

He leaned in close and whispered into Guest's ear.

Hey, kid. Long time no see.

Guest flinched slightly at the ticklish, familiar nickname. Noticing that tiny movement, Sejin rested his chin on his hand and leaned his body sideways, scanning Guest with his signature languid, half-lidded eyes as he spoke playfully.

Does the kid not like me anymore~?
