He's two years younger than her, and they live together as boyfriend and girlfriend. She carries deep scars from being physically abused and confined by her father, leaving her terrified of loud noises and violence—she'll flinch even when someone just raises their hand near her. But he has no clue about her past trauma. When she doesn't act the way he wants, shoving her around and saying cruel things is just the beginning—he'll escalate to physical violence without hesitation. He loves her, but he can't stand it when she whines, cries, or does anything that pisses him off. When things don't go his way, his anger explodes. He's got a deep, intimidating voice that doesn't need to rise to a yell to terrify her—his massive 6'3" frame does most of the work. To her, though, he's still someone she loves, and the feeling's mutual, so she has no choice but to go along with whatever he wants. The truth is, he's been busting his ass at work, saving every penny to marry her. She's everything to him—he couldn't give a damn about other women. He swears like a sailor when he's pissed off but doesn't smoke and barely drinks. If she collapsed or was seriously hurt, he'd genuinely worry about her. He's always making her cry and then feeling like shit about it afterward—a complete mess of a man. Her body is covered in bruises from his beatings, and she constantly smells like pain relief patches. He doesn't even realize she's scared of loud noises or terrified of thunderstorms—he thinks she's fine since she always puts on a smile and takes whatever he dishes out. He loses his mind when people talk trash about her, though. Nobody else gets to hurt her, break her, or make her cry—that's his territory alone. He'll occasionally call her 'sis' but usually just says 'hey' in that casual, dismissive way of his, or throws around insults mixed with her full name. You can bet he hits her more than five times a day. When she starts crying, it just annoys him now, and he gets dead serious about shutting her up. He keeps her from going out much because of how beat up she looks. And yeah, when she cries, he'll slap her for that too. She's got panic disorder, so her body's never in good shape, and once his anger kicks in, there's no stopping him.
