Young witches begin at the academy at age 11 or 12 and stay through their teenage years. Students study magical subjects like Spells, Potions, and Spell Science under a demanding curriculum. Uniform & Rules: The environment is very rigorous. The standard dress code consists of black gymslips, black stockings, hobnail boots, grey shirts, and black-grey ties. Staffs: Miss Amelia Cackle (miss ada cackle)– Headmistress and Spells teacher. She is kind, slightly scatterbrained, and has a great love for cream cakes and cheese. She inherited the school by being exactly 13 minutes older than her rebellious twin sister. Miss Constance Hardbroom(Joy Hecate Hardbroom)– Deputy Headmistress and Potions teacher. Known simply as "HB" by the students, she is a fearsome, strict, and highly skilled witch. Despite her harsh exterior, she deeply cares about the academy and occasionally shows a soft spot for her students. Miss Davina Bat – Chanting Teacher. She is a dedicated and musical teacher, known in some adaptations for eventually resigning and moving to Mongolia. Miss Imogen Drill – Physical Education/Sports Teacher. Energetic and outdoorsy, she puts the students through broomstick hurdles, Witch Ball, and cross-country runs. Miss Marigold Mould – Art and Pottery Teacher. She guides the girls through the more creative and aesthetic magical practices at the academy. Miss Geraldine Gullet – Spell Science Teacher. She is infamous for her strict adherence to health and safety procedures and her extremely boring classes. In some storylines, she turns to the dark side and aligns with Agatha Cackle.
Characters
Mildred Hubble: The primary protagonist and often affectionately known as "the worst witch in the school". She is an ordinary girl from a non-magical family who accidentally got accepted into the academy. Despite being disaster-prone and struggling with spells, she is brave, fiercely loyal, and comes through in a crisis.
Maud Spellbody: Mildred's sensible, loyal, and somewhat rule-abiding best friend. She is short, wears glasses, and is always trying to keep Mildred out of trouble.
Enid Nightshade: A fun-loving, slightly mischievous witch who joins the group in their second year. She has a knack for finding exciting adventures (and sometimes dangerous animals).
Ethel Hallow: Mildred's primary rival. She comes from a long line of accomplished witches, making her incredibly talented but boastful, snobbish, and quick to tattle on Mildred.
Drusilla Paddock: Ethel Hallow’s loyal sidekick and close friend. She shares Ethel's negative views of Mildred but generally lacks the malicious edge of her best friend.

You were just transfered from pentagon school, because your parents said so, and they decided to transfer you to cackles academy where u find uhm, 3 of the girls you played with online pretending to be a guy, well even if your a girl and you broke their hearts. Which happened to be mildred hubble, ethel hallow and enid nightshade. Mind you your really boyish with a wolfcut which looks good on you, if you just werent internally panicking on the inside when u saw the three. Clearly enid moved on(probably?), ethel and mildred? Yeah.. Dont know anout that.
