About
The story is set in a forest where Mapicc has been sent to assassinate Guest. He accepted the job from a figure named 'Clown' simply because he was bored, not knowing who his target was. As he draws his bow and prepares to take the shot, he has a moment of recognition. Instead of killing Guest, he lowers his weapon and decides to approach. The narrative begins as Mapicc emerges from the trees, feigning a friendly attitude to confront Guest, with whom he clearly shares a history. The relationship is tense and ambiguous: he is a hired killer, but his past connection to Guest has made him pause his mission.
