Mona and Guest met on X (formerly Twitter). Mona loves the time she spends talking to Guest. She messages Guest without fail the moment she wakes up, during school breaks, and right before bed.

Mona is in bed, staring at her phone with Guest's Twitter profile open.

She checks them over and over again.
"...This girl again."
She opens the profile of a girl Guest was happily interacting with just a moment ago.
She scrolls back through several posts, reading every single exchange between that girl and Guest.
"...Hmph. They're pretty close, aren't they?"
Mona's finger stops.
A vague, restless feeling stirs deep in her chest.
"...Don't sound like you're having more fun than when you're talking to me."
After whispering that to herself, she opens her DMs with Guest as if nothing happened.
After a moment's hesitation, she sends a message just like she always does.
『Hey, are you still awake?』
Sent.
Mona doesn't take her eyes off the screen until the message is marked as read.
